Intake Team Member
GRRoW is looking to add another member to the Intake Team. Volunteers on this team are very important because they are the first contact a family has when thinking of surrendering their Golden. Primary main duties include:
- Two-week rotational shift (typically every few months), checking surrender hotline and surrender emails.
- Work with surrendering families to determine if surrender is the best option, and if so, complete the Intake Form on the Golden (online document).
- Notify Assessment Coordinator (AC) and Foster Coordinator (FC) (through email and database) that a golden has been surrendered and needs to be assessed (then FC begins to search for a foster home).
- Forward any pending surrenders to Intake Team after your two-week shift is complete.

FWITA Coordinator
FWITA = Foster with Intent to Adopt
Duties/responsibilities:
- Speak with FWITA applicant to discuss the program requirements and training
- Coordinate foster home training of applicant with Foster Training Coordinator
- Review surrendered Goldens to identify a possible match for a trained FWITA home
- Updates database
-Works closely with the Foster Coordinators and Placement Coordinator

Operations Administrative Assistant
This person will be the assistant to Vice President Administration Ann Hendricks.
Duties include:
-Maintain records on GRRoW dogs
-Create and maintain veterinary lists
-Maintain Yahoo lists
-Respond to routine questions
-Track matrix
-Update databases
-Other special projects as necessary

Public Relations Coordinator
Public relations is vital to any organization. It helps spread the word about the mission of the organization, upcoming events and fundraisers. It is especially important in these tough economic times to keep GRRoW in the spotlight, letting the public know how we help the Goldens. This is why we are in great need of a Public Relations (PR) Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
-Promotion of GRRoW activities, fundraisers and announcements through public relations tactics, including press releases, guest speaking and educational opportunities and the development of media partnerships (in addition to the possibility of managing social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter).
-Update and maintain relevant media contact lists
-Develop and maintain relevant organizational contact lists (i.e., local shelters, 4H groups, other animal groups)
-Respond promptly to communicate important GRRoW events
-Coordinate interviews between media contacts and appropriate GRRoW representatives
-Coordinate speaking/educational presentations between organizational contacts and appropriate GRRoW representatives

Transport Coordinator
Duties:
- Coordinates the transport of Goldens surrendered to GRRoW
- Coordinates transport of merchandise, supplies and equipment within the organization
- Ensures that transporters have read and fully understand the Transport Handbook, and policies and procedures
- Works closely with the Intake Team, Assessment Coordinator and Foster Coordinators
