The 2023 Calendar Contest is Here!!

Photos will be accepted until midnight, May 31, 2022.
We’re super excited to see the amazing pics you’ve been taking all year long!

Photo Submission Guidelines:

Photo Content

Photos must be your own and include a Golden Retriever, but the dog does not have to be a GRRoW alumni or a rescue dog.
No people in your photos.
Dogs must be portrayed in a dignified manner.
No costumes or display of trademarked items such as sports logos.

Photo Attributes

Digital Images ONLY.
Photos submitted must be HORIZONTAL in orientation.
Set your camera to take photos at the highest resolution possible.
Send ORIGINAL image(s) in .jpg or .tif format. Photos must be a minimum of 300 dpi in order to be printed.

Sending your files—UPON PAYMENT, YOUR RECEIPT WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH DETAILS OF WHERE TO SEND YOUR PHOTOS

Photos can be attached when you make your payment.
Photos must be named with your last name (underscore) dog’s name. For example, smith_buddy_1234.tif.
Do not reduce file size.

Submission not meeting the above criteria will not be considered. Upon review of the photos submitted, a group independent of GRRoW will select a minimum of 20 photos to be included in an online voting contest. Voting will allow our friends and supporters to pick the 14 winners for the 2023 GRRoW Calendar. First place gets to be the cover dog. The next 12 go on each month page. And the 14th dog goes on the back cover. Photos chosen for the voting contest will be judged on composition, quality, and emotional appeal. Submissions cost $5 for one photo and $20 for 5 photos.
