Bodie (Bodhi) 18-030

It is with broken hearts that we share that Bodie went over the Rainbow Bridge on July 20, 2022 at the age of 8.8 years of age. We adopted Bodie in July of 2018 into a family with two human kids and a dog sister named Rayne. Bodie was a handsome boy. We enjoyed sharing him and his antics on social media. Even though Bodie didn’t have the easiest time meeting new dogs, he helped foster two other goldens for GRRoW and shared our home with various other dogs that needed a temporary place to stay. Bodie had a love of “stuffies” and he would often grab one to take to you when he greeted you at the door. He loved people and was a kind and gentle soul that everyone loved.

While on vacation with his family, Bodie became ill. He was taken to an emergency vet where we were given the horrifying news that he had a splenic hemangiosarcoma. This is the same disease that took his sister, Rayne in 2021. We decided to make him comfortable and helped him pass peacefully while we held him. He joined Rayne in heaven and we know they are reunited and playing together again.

He was the bestest boy. We will love him forever and never forget him.
