September 11, 2021:

Our sweet Brandy-Girl (a.k.a. Baby Girl Dawg) journeyed over the Rainbow Bridge on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the age of 17. Towards the end of her time, Brandy was deaf and nearly blind with arthritic hind legs, but she was still enjoying every bit of life that she could each day. Brandy came into our lives when we adopted her through GRRoW in June of 2012. She was just turning 8 years old that summer, and though she was an older Golden, she was still full of energy and spunk! My husband and I had never had a Golden before, and could not believe how friendly, lovable, and cuddly she was with us. Her personality was so fun-loving and she was always so happy. We truly bonded with her over the years, and she with us. She became the angel in our lives, and an important part of our family. We were so lucky to have 9 wonderful years with our little girl. We will truly miss her each and every day
