October 25, 2022:

Carter has been retired from world traveling. He came to Northern WI from Beijing, China, with stopovers in Vancouver for quarantine and then off to LAX, Seattle, and finally Minneapolis where he was picked up by a GRRoW volunteer and then met his foster mom (me) at a Wisconsin gas station late at night. It was love at first sight for Carter and me. I can’t imagine how different life in the Northwoods must be for Carter, but I know he is very happy with his new pal, Bailey and me. We have adopted him forever. Thank you, China Dog Rescue and GRRoW for saving him.

October 5, 2022:

Carter made his long journey from China. He is a well-behaved and trained gentleman. The veterinarian estimates Carter’s age to be 5-7 years.
