August 28, 2021:

Edna has been adopted and is getting used to life in her new home.

August 16, 2021:

Believe it or not… Edna got a bath this week! Anyway, Edna got the chance to visit her foster grandparents this week. She did very well in the car (3 hour trip). She also adjusted well to the new environment. She loved running around in the fenced in yard and meeting new friends.

She loves to play and can get a little too excited when your holding a toy she wants. She may jump up and nip a little. This is something we are working through.

August 7, 2021:

Edna has found a new love for walks! Not only does she love going on walks but she is very good on the leash. This week we got to venture to Pattison State Park and Amnicon Falls!

July 31, 2021:

Edna is 5 months old! Edna is learning what it’s like to live the golden life. Edna is the perfect mix of playful yet well mannered. Edna has spurts of energy where she is in full on puppy play mode but also is able to calm down and be content playing with herself or her foster sister, Paisley. So far, Edna’s favorite thing to do is play fetch. Edna is a pretty good listener. She hasn’t been super big on treats. We are still working on potty training and basic commands. Edna is good about using puppy pads. If she is kept on a schedule she is pretty good about going outside. After all, she is a puppy. Edna is learning how to walk on a leash and just starting to enjoy it! Edna has not been around cats. However, she enjoys playing with her foster sister, Paisley. She has been around some children and did great with them!

July 28, 2021:

Edna is settling in at her foster home and is demonstrating some pure puppy behavior. With her first vet visit under her belt she is feeling better after getting some medication. We can’t wait to see what life has ready for this young lady.
