Koda

Dog ID: 22-114

January 17, 2023:

Koda is a very mellow, fluffy, loving puppy and has quickly become part of our family. Koda is sleeping 7 hours, through the night, comfortably in his crate. Koda is an expert at emptying and disassembling his toy box, in record time. He loves puzzles, especially when treats are involved. He enjoys 3 meals per day and is quickly learning our daily routine. Koda has become fast friends with our cat, Miller. Together, the two of them enjoy naps, batting around ice cubes to each other and sitting at the pantry patiently waiting for treats. Potty training is going well. Koda has learned to ring bells attached to the door when he needs to go outside, and hasn’t had an accident in the house in over a week. He prefers napping at our feet, over cuddling. Koda is still exploring the house, and learning to walk up and down stairs. Belly slides down the stairs are currently more of his speed. Koda started puppy school, is a fast learner of new commands, and enjoys seeing his new puppy friends weekly. We are working on walking with a leash, with lots of treats as motivation. Koda loves to be outside, especially playing ball in the yard, jumping in the snow and wrestling with the neighbor dog who is his best bud. He is a great motivation for us to get outside to walk and enjoy the Wisconsin winter weather. Koda is a wonderful addition to our family and we are looking forward to many adventures with him!

December 20, 2022:

Koda is pure puppy and enjoys having an older buddy to play with in the snow. He loves burrowing in the white fluff and running and sniffing everything. Tug of war and running in a one acre circle keeps him busy. A puzzle dish for eating is a requirement as he eats like it is his last meal. Koda loves to cuddle and verbally lets you know when he wants your attention or a specific toy. He wants to be by your side and will find you where ever you are in the house. Once outside he loves to explore all the smells. Potty training is a work in progress as is leash training. Koda loves his treats and is not gentle about letting you know he would like more of the good stuff. This sweet pup loves to cuddle and be in your lap. He goes to the vet this week and will be ready for adoption in the near future.
