January 28, 2023:

Our sweet Kyra puppy joined our home on 1/10/2023. It was one of the best ways to start off the new year. She is such a fun and spunky little girl who took to her big sister bailey right away. Bailey is our three year old golden who needed a little friend to keep her company. They run around the yard all day long if they could, play tug of war with all the toys, and cuddle up with each other while mom makes dinner. She also loves to bug her little brother Stewie who is a 8 year old Pomeranian who just likes being left by himself, but doesn’t mind her at all. Kyra has met most of our family and everyone just melts when they see her. We are trying to take in all of her milestones and absolutely love watching her grow, we just don’t want it to go by too fast. She also loves not only playing in the snow but eating the snow balls that she finds. We can’t wait to show her what all the other seasons has to offer and the memories we get to make along the way. She is such a blessing to us!

December 21, 2022:

Kyra has settled in and is loving life!!   This little girl is confident and super energetic and keeps her foster brother on his toes!  In the short time she’s been with us, she’s become crate trained and she’s doing well with potty training too.  She loves playing with other dogs large and small, but is a little uncertain about cats. She wants to play a bit more than they do.    Kyra is learning her commands and is doing well sit, down, and is working on staying, and boundaries.  This is one smart little girl!  If emptying the toy box was an Olympic sport,  Kyra would be a gold medalist!   My most favorite Kyra trait is how much she loves to snuggle when it’s nap time. Who can resist puppy snuggles?!!

December 13, 2022:

Kyra is doing great! Her doc and staff fell in love with her during her visit, saying she’s everything a puppy should be. With a little help from her brother, she’s been making great progress in her potty training. She’s also learned how to empty the toy box out in record speed!! Kyra is such a social butterfly. She greets everyone with an excitement and energy that makes your heart sing. She’s loves playing with her toys and has shown us what a great retriever she is!! She’s gotten to meet a couple of other GRRoW fosters and has a blast! We’re having so much fun fostering this girl and can’t get enough of her snuggles and puppy kisses.

December 4, 2022:

Kyra is starting to settle in a bit. She’s super inquisitive and is such a quick learner. In less than 48 hours she’s mastered emptying the toy box and quicker than Goldilocks, she’s found the perfect bed for her. We can’t wait to see more from the snuggly girl who loves to give kisses. Stay tuned….
