December 26, 2022: 

Moose is doing well in his foster home! He loves to play with the young resident Golden and both of them burn a lot of energy every day. He would also love to chase the cat, neighborhood squirrels and birds in the trees, so his forever home will probably need to be a cat-free zone.

Moose practices Sit and Stay at each meal and randomly throughout the day and is learning! He walks well on leash, in most situations, and his house training is going well. Moose has mastered stairs and is pretty good at crate time if he’s had a chance to run and play before heading to his kennel. He gets snoopy when his brain isn’t occupied or tired and will look for food, towels and shoes. He is just a big puppy, after all!

Moose didn’t get to his forever home in time for Christmas but we know the New Year will be happy and bright for him now that he’s ready for adoption.

December 21, 2022:

Moose settled into his foster home pretty easily, with the guidance and companionship of the resident dog. They love to play together and sleep in side-by-side crates. Moose is making progress with house training and walks quite well on leash without pulling. This big boy will be ready for adoption soon!
